i'd like to work as a mascot

Finally got back to Ipoh. Not like I was in Genting for days. Was just there for 2 nights but I was too lazy to update because I was too busy sleeping in KL. Anyway it was bloody cold in Genting. Exceptionally cold this time. Maybe because it's the rainy season. Had difficulty sleeping. Forced myself not to move so that there'll be more warmth. And I hurt my ass after going to the outdoor theme park. Crap. Mom said it's the backbone or something. Whatever. It still hurts till today. Damnit. Overall it was quite enjoyable but I wish I'm 21 so that I could go to the casino instead of rotting at night. 4 more years. Be patient! My parents said I have the tendency to become a compulsive gambler. What the heck?

Cousin bro's girlfriend and I.

Together with cousins.

Looks cool (look at the photo below)..

..trick revealed.

Second day at the outdoor themepark.

Lumix mascot!

This thing looks VERY adorable.

BR.

Such a poser.

You actually have to pay if you wanna take photos with them. Bugger.

MILO!

I think this is the mascot for the local ice cream. Ridiculously lame.

I still find clowns scary. His costume reminds me of KFC.

i want a psp as an xmas gift

I'm in KL and I'll be here for one week. So anyway today's my first day. Had a nice lunch at Duck King. Damn, people have no idea how much I love ducks and just how much I've been craving for them. I don't get to eat them often because my mom doesn't take ducks due to health reasons.
What the heck? This made me laugh.

Ducks.

Some kinda old fashioned rice with minced pork and mushroom.

Szechuan soup with dumpling.

Stuffed brinjals with some kinda fish paste.

Fried chicken with chillies. Boy, this is effing spicy. I gave up after trying one bite.

Headed to Mid Valley. Mom wanted to get Xmas gifts for relatives. It was boring. I had to help her choose stuff and she was asking me for opinions. It's okay to ask for opinions but she was choosing those really girly stuff. I have no idea what's the best and the most IN thing in town. Later on we ate the BEST EGG TARTS (that's what the shop claims). Anyway it's really not bad. So far the best egg tarts I've ever tasted. People should try. Better than Kampung Simee ones.

The ones without butter and the ones with butter. Heavenly.

After dinner, we went to Echo Park to take a look at Avia shoes. I've been drooling over them since one year ago. They didn't have my size. Btw I hate the size of my feet, it's weird. It's not too big or too small. Saw a few new designs and in the end mom decided to buy a pair for me. *muka very elated* Thanks mom.

In the process of drooling.

...and finally it's mine. *smirks*

Tomorrow will be going to Genting for 2 nights. So an early Merry Christmas to everyone! Have fun people. =)

disillusioned?

Most people do believe that the more you hate something, the more that thing will come to you. I'm not an exception. My hatred towards weird creatures is something that even me myself can't comprehend. Since I was a kid, I could sense it when a beetle or bee is about to get into my room. I could sense it even before when it lands right outside the door of my room. No idea why but I'm gifted with sharp hearing, only for listening to the sound of their wings, not other things. 9 out of 10 times when I have that gut feeling, for sure the beetle or whatever weird insect will be in my room in less than 10 minutes. Besides creatures which can fly, four legged weirdos scare me a lot too, for instance, long lizards. They look SOSOSO disgusting. Saw one at home 2 weeks back. Grandma ended the lizard's life by hitting it with a pot.

Then today while I was having dinner at the food court near Tong Sui road, I saw this dog which looks a cow. It's the newest species in town. Look closer, it even has eyes which glow in the dark. xD

Went out with Leong and friends to celebrate her birthday. Watched the movie Yes Man. Gotta say the poster doesn't give me the impression that it'll be an enjoyable movie. I told her I'll blame her for everything if the movie bores me. Fortunately the movie was really good. It has gotta be good because most audience were laughing during 95% of the movie. Your sense of humour must be really atrocious if you don't think it's funny. *coughs* *hint* *hint* Anyway I laughed so badly, couldn't control it. The movie made me grin even when I was walking out of the cinema. Zi Zhe said the next time people should provide me with tissues if I ever watch a comedy movie because I laughed too much till I cried. A lot. I think I produced a lot of tears today.

So my dad was saying that what Carl did in the movie is something good for everyone and everyone should learn to apply it. And yeah, I totally agree with him and I told him to practise saying yes to everything. He should say yes whenever I ask her for new gadgets and money. Immediately he showed me a swt face. Parents,.. tsk.

EAT ME, DRINK ME

Finally received my birthday gift from Zhen Min. It's really special. Special as in the process of getting the gift. Here's the story.

This morning at 11 plus, she phoned me.

ZM : Go check your mail box, I already left the gift in your mailbox.
Me : Huh? What? Are you sure it's the right house?
ZM : Yeah.
Me : 21?
ZM : Yeah, go check but I'm not sure whether it's that house.
Me : ...
ZM : I thought no one was at home so I just left it there and I was afraid that your mom will come out yelling at me.
Me : Uh okay, I'll check. *checks* (fyi the mailbox is full with weird tools and there's a lizard inside so I had to actually muster my courage to check it) Don't have lah. WRONG HOUSE IS IT?
ZM : Oh my god (I have no idea how many times she repeated this. Lol)
Me : Should've phoned me right? Now how?
ZM : I lost your number and I had to ask from 5 friends to get your number. I'm at home right now.
Me : ... uh ask someone to fetch you there to get it?
ZM : I'm with my grandma and she can't drive. (and I think she mentioned something about her mom isn't home)
Me : Well I guess I have to wait for my mom or grandpa to get back.
ZM : What time will they be back?
Me : Uh, 5 plus.
ZM : Oh my god. The owner of the house would've taken the gift.
Me : THEN HOW?
ZM : Walk to the house and get it.
Me : You said it's 21 right? How can there be so many 21s in one single taman? *swt*
ZM : I don't know. Just walk lahhh.

So in the end I decided to walk. My biggest concern was being chased by dogs. It was super super hot. I walked till the opposite end and there wasn't any 21 house. So I phoned her again.

Me : Don't have lah. You dropped it off at 121 is it?
ZM : No, it's 21.
Me : Describe the house.
ZM : I think it's brownish orange. There's a grandpa chair. There's a small field with a few medium sized plants and there's a bell above the mailbox. (I thought she really meant a BELL, a friggin BELL)
Me : That's my house LAH! ...uh what bell?
ZM : Those white electronic bell but it isn't working anymore.
Me : (oh that kinda bell) okay lah I'll walk back to check.

So I walked back to my house and I kept digging the mailbox. By the time I finished, the weird tools were scattered all over the floor. Then suddenly I remembered my grandpa came back. Most of the time he's in charge of checking the mail. I phoned him and asked him whether he took anything from the mailbox. He said he took something like a CD and he actually placed the CD near the stack of newspaper which is supposed to be recycled. Wtf. Fuhhh, I went to search and fortunately it was there. Quickly phoned Zhen Min. The whole process was 1 hour long. Then I unwrapped the package.

It's...

a MARILYN MANSON CD! I was kinda surprised. My first MANSON CD. w00t! Awesome.
THANK YOU ZHEN MIN! ZHEN MIN IS <3. HAHA, she said she had to ask the police and look at the map to find my house. LOL.

the unrequited dream

It's already the 8th.
She did not return my call.
This means they've decided not to hire me.
No job.
Anyone knows where I can find a job with good pay? (close to RM 1000)

Since I was so bored, I recorded a video of myself doing a cover of Big Bang - Make Love on the acoustic guitar, without vocals of course.

Chords :

Standard tuning, Capo on 1st fret.

tragic

First day after finishing SPM. I'm not that excited. In fact, I'm bored. Nothing much to look forward to except for getting a job and sitting for the driving test. This morning I piled up all my reference books, test papers and notes. Then I had to go through them all to see which ones are still in good condition. Troublesome. Very. The dust kept attacking my nose and eyes. Ugh. Anyway I just realized that I have many new Perdagangan workbooks. There's also an Accounts Form 5 and Science past year SPM papers. All of them are new. I'm giving them away for free so if you're interested, msn me or leave a msg here. Ask your friends whether they're interested. Somehow I don't feel like selling them to novel hut. Lol.

After months of waiting, finally managed to download a nice dvd rip of Saw V. The methods of killing are still cool. I wonder where they get those ideas. The ending was a bit unexpected. Can't wait for Saw VI. I'm so excited because Jigsaw will be making his appearance.

Anyway has anyone watched the trailer for The Spirit? It'll be out on Xmas day. Looks good. Reminds me a lot of Zorro, but a much better version. The best thing is, they're using the Dark theme.

another day thinking why

Accounts was really bad.

Accounts can easily beat history. Damnit.

2 more days and I will get back to my job, a full time slacker.

Had dinner at Restaurant Unique, bla, something like that. Forgotten the exact name. Took a few nice photos.

Thanks to someone's bad influence, I'm addicted to DMC. Awesome shit. Went to Popular book fair last week and bought an old book. I think it was released a few years back.

Last night I was so busy reading this book. Therefore, I ended up dumping my revision books aside. Well done Crystal. Anyway the book consists of many short stories. Most of the short stories that I've read left a great impact. Leaves reader with something to ponder. And I just realized this cover sucks, mine is better because it doesn't have this woman. >_>

i don't mind you keeping me on pins and needles

Watched Twilight today. Well actually I do categorize myself under anti-Twilights or anti-Edwardians or whatever. In case you wonder why, I find the book to be really boring. It's amazing how fans love the book so much just because of Edward. I'm so gonna get bashed after writing this. Who the heck cares? My forearms are quite sore now because someone kept squeezing it and telling me how fucking hot Edward is. I think my friend's reaction was even more amusing than the movie itself.

The movie is average. Not that bad, not that good. Pretty boring at the beginning. They cut one of the kissing scenes if I'm not wrong. Oh, pity those fangirls but maybe some might be happier because they don't get to see Edward kissing Bella. Then they can actually picture themselves being kissed by Edward. What I hate most is how the people reacted in the cinema. Some actually took out their cameras to snap pics of the intimate scenes. What the heck? You're acting so uncivilized. *shakes head* it would be great if suddenly those workers come to check and confiscate their cameras. I'd be the first to laugh my ass off. Pathetic.

To be honest, I think the dude who plays Carlisle is so much hotter than Edward.

I'm quite surprised I didn't doze off during the movie.
There's one great thing about the movie though, they used Muse's Supermassive Black Hole during the baseball scene. HAHA.

Was sitting in Secret Recipe today. Saw a dude with PURPLE hair and a purple with black stripes shirt walking around. One of the workers spotted the eggplant dude and pointed out to his cliques. Then I heard one of them said, "itu Cina so hai". Find it kinda funny because he was said that loudly. Poor guy. Purple hair is kinda cool though if he dressed up in a better way. His style was so SEAFOOD.

eat me drink me

Just to update a bit because this blog is so dead nowadays.
I'm selected for NS 3rd batch. Apparently it's a lot easier to escape if you're selected for the 3rd batch because it's really late. I was grinning non stop when I got to know that. Such a dork. Fortunately no one was beside me to see my stupid face. I got so excited, I even phoned Leong. It's not something big but I don't think I actually phone any people using my phone except for my grandpa or parents when I need transport. What a nice daughter and granddaughter. Lol. So I guess I don't need to go through all those shitty torturing.

Didn't celebrate birthday yesterday because I got too lazy and wasn't in the mood. Fyi, I'm not having depression. Someone kept claiming that I have depression. Tsk. I'm just lazy till this extent. I know I'm helpless and there's no cure. My dad was like wtf when I told him I don't wanna go out. Lol. So I ended up eating with my family. Mom asked me one day before my birthday whether I want a cake. I told her I don't want. Then on my birthday itself, she asked again. I said I want because I felt like eating. The suckiest part, it was raining heavily. The first cake shop we went to was closed. Tough luck. So we ended up going to another cake shop. We got drenched just because of one cake. How pathetic and dumb. HAHA. Btw I think that the NS 3rd batch thing is the greatest birthday gift of all. *lame* Once again, thanks to those who gave me those wonderful gifts, and also big thnks to those who wished me. Oh, and HUGE HUGE thanks to the person who wished me so many times, sooooo early and the last. Most probably you wouldn't even read this, lol, you made my birthday. Haha.

Watched Max Payne a few days back. Wonder why so many people said it's not nice. Even Rotten Tomatoes gave it a poor score. I actually enjoyed watching the whole movie. The setting is really similar to the game itself. Dark, with the snow and all. The subway scene especially is really close to the game. Mark Wahlberg who plays Max Payne did a great job. His facial expression is so close to the pixel version of Max Payne who's always frowning. Too bad there aren't many bullet time scenes. If there were more, it'll be a much cooler movie. I guess most people said it's bad because they haven't played the game. Or maybe I'm just being bias here because I'm such a Max Payne fangirl. *hides* Anyway the soundtrack is pretty awesome. One of the songs, If I Was Your Vampire by Marilyn Manson is really good. OR maybe I'm just being bias again because I have a lot of respect for Manson.

A live performance of this song :

6A.M., Chrismas morning
No shadows, no reflections here
Lie cheek to cheek in your cold embrace
So soft and so tragic as a slaughter house
She press the knife against your heart
Say that I love you
So much you must kill me now
I love you
So much you must kill me now

If I was your vampire
Soon as the moon says it's killing time
We'll have each other till the sun
If I was your vampire
Death waits for no one
Oh, my hands across your face
And to think our time has come

I'm taking your smile apart
With my spade tongue
And the hole is where the heart is
Built this tomb together
I will fill it alone

All the pain
Everything's black
No turning back

If I was your vampire
Soon as the moon says it's killing time
We'll have each other till the sun
If I was your vampire
Death waits for no one
Oh, my hands across your face
And to think our time has come

Blood stained sheets
In the shape of your heart
This is where it starts
Blood stained sheets
In the shape of your heart
This is where it starts
This is where it will end
'Cause the moon again

6:19 and I know I'm ready
Drive me off the mountain, I'll burn
And I'll eat your ashes
It's possible we're seducing your corpse

If I was your vampire
Soon as the moon says it's killing time
We'll have each other till the sun
If I was your vampire
Death waits for no one
Oh, my hands across your face
And to think our time has come

All the pain
Everything's black
No turning back
All the pain
Everything's black
No turning back

This is where it starts
This is where it will end
'Cause the moon again
'Cause the moon again

This is where it starts
This is where it will end
'Cause the moon again
'Cause the moon again
'Cause the moon again
'Cause the moon again

can't help doubting

Dir en grey's new album is addictive like hell. Less pointless screaming. This time it's more melodic and dark. It has this oriental touch to it. Even the 9 minutes opening track, Vinushka is mind blowing. Unlike most epic tracks, this one isn't boring. Instead of cutting short the music video for Vinushka, they should actually make it as long as the original song. Other heavy tracks remind me of their old stuff. I was actually ambivalent about this album when I first downloaded it because their previous album isn't up to par. They've proved me wrong.

Anyway SPM is getting more and more mundane. I think it's such a waste of time for us to dress up just to attend school for a few hours. Worst thing, we're not allowed to leave the hall early even though we've finished our papers. What kinda stupid rule is this? PEOPLE do not realize that we can actually revise a lot for our next paper if we're allowed to get out of the hall early. Besides, what's the point staying in the hall for so long if you've already completed everything and you don't even bother to change your answers? I had to sleep for 1 and a half hour just because of the new rule. Damn. I'm starting not to like SPM. Used to think it's cool but now it's no longer cool. Even the canteen wasn't opened yesterday. Everybody was cursing. Before this Mrs Lee actually said that one or two shops will be opened. Gahhh, not even one single shop was opened. Then we had to ask Pn. Seow for food because we were famished. She gave us biscuits. Lol. Better than nothing. At that moment, the biscuits tasted really GOOD.

i don't wanna care

Another early birthday gift. This one is from LENA LAU. I actually got it from her last week. I've been eyeing this CD since February. Practically every single track on this album is fantastic. Thank you LENA LAU. I doubt she'll read this but I just feel like thanking her here. Haha.

Finally SPM is HERE. Doh. Today's the first day. BM paper 1 , Sejarah paper 1 and BM paper 2. While we were doing BM paper 1, suddenly there was this weird sound coming from Idontknowwhere. It sounded like those cheapskate machines from amusement parks. You know when you insert a few coins into those machines then some stupid kiddy music comes out. Anyway the music lasted for less than 30 seconds I think. It was quite vague. We exchanged looks. When the paper was over, ANDA came asking us where did the sound came from. Like we know. Then the teacher in charge kept reminding us not to bring phones in.

Teacher : Did anyone of you bring phone in? If you're carrying one now, please pass it over to me.
Us : *no reply*
Ain : The sound came from the clock. *points to the huge white clock*
Teacher : *goes to check the clock* Huh? Nah. Why would the clock have this kinda music? Must be another clock. Owh, did the sound come from the cupboard behind there? Do you girls keep clocks or any other gadgets inside there?

I think it's really ridiculously stupid for Ain to say that the clock was the source of the weird sound. Why would the clock suddenly emit that kinda sound? Doh. And the teacher actually asked whether we keep another clock inside the cupboard. Maybe it's not funny to any of you but my desk mate and I were laughing. I think my sense of humour is actually getting better during SPM. In fact, I was laughing so much before I sit for the first paper. A few weeks back Tengku told us not to laugh so much because apparently it'll make you forget everything that you've read. Shit, I think I really need to stop talking to anyone before exams before everything flies away from my head.

before it's too late

Went to ask for forecast results today. Finished everything in less than an hour. Shame on those who took a friggin' week. *TRALALA* xD

So I was asking my maths teacher, Pn. Tan. So here goes the convo :

Her : Give you what grade?
Me : A1 loh. *grins*
Her : What did you get for trials?
Me : A2, hehe.
Her : You want A1 arh? You always don't pay attention in class. Always talking and playing. You want A1?
Me : But I only do those after I finish the test papers. (obviously I was lying)
Her : Give you B3 better lah okay? Or maybe should give you C since you always don't wanna pay attention.

SWT. What a KIND teacher I have. Despite all her complaints, she gave me an A1.

Cik Hasno brought Leong and I out for lunch after school. Went to Secret Recipe in JJ. What a waste of petrol. Should've suggested to go to the one near Parade. Since I was the first who finished the food, I sat there looking here and there. Then, suddenly a lady who's quite old (I think in her 50s), came to our table and she started to ask me random stuff.

Her : Ni she zhung guo ren ma? Ni zhiang bla bla bla (I didn't really understand what she was babbling because her mandarin too cekap. She was asking me whether I'm from China and what language I speak).
Me : *blur face and looks at Leong* what is she asking lah?
Her : Are you a chinese? What language do you speak? Mandarin? Hokkien?
Me : Uh, yeah I'm a chinese but I'm not from China. I speak cantonese and english.
Her : *points at Cik Hasno* so this is your mom?
Me : No no, this is my teacher.
Her : Oh okay, okay~

Then after that she gave us this very sweet and innocent smile and left. HOW STRANGE. Her husband was patiently waiting for her when she asked me those stuff. Scared the shit outta me. I thought she was some scammer or something. Ugh.

Accompanied Cik Hasno to get some vegetables for her pot luck tomorrow. She fetched us back to school and we stayed at the corridor for practically one hour plus. When we got back to class, we were surprised that Judith and Aniza actually left us food. I think their class party ended at 3 plus? Fortunately the food was still there. Thank you. =p

Random shots :

Most probably the messiest desks in MGS.

This desk belongs to our classmate who passed away a few months back. Interesting piece of art, no?

No idea who wrote this but I find it dumb. 'Final Destination'? Wtf? Sounds as if we're heading towards death.

lovelorn frog

I LOVE JUDITH! xD
I received my second birthday present today from Judith today. It's Jay Chou's new album, Capricorn. I'm sooooo happy. It's actually my first original Jay Chou album besides the Live DVD that which was released last year. Couldn't stop caressing it after school. HAHA. Comes with a DVD which has 2 MVs. The booklet isn't that amazing, it's pretty lame actually but who cares? Most importantly he's still producing good music. Besides, there's a poster which is the same as the album cover. I don't think I'll pin it up because I might just laugh my head off everytime I look at it. Some pics for showing off :

One of those ridiculously lame shots from the booklet.

Btw oes anyone has the romanized version of the tracklist for this album? I don't like having my songs with english titles. The translation is so shitty.

Hari Penghargaan which will be held tomorrow is the last event for this semester. The way Mrs. Lee said it today sounds really funny. She made it sound really depressing, lol but then again maybe it was because of the form 4 girl's death. Geez, life is so damn short. 2 students passed away this year. =/

pizza day!

Today should be named PIZZA day. Ate A LOT. Have been experiencing stomach ache since my lunch. Damnit, can't really complain, I'm always blessed with GOOD FOOD. *BEAMS PROUDLY*

Anyway I think most of my classmates are extremely KIASU. Sure they can survive in the future. When Cik Hasno told us that we can pack back the leftovers (a lot), most of them quickly rushed to the table and packed the food. Kiasu betul. It was amusing. Stuffed ourselves full with Tom Yam mihun and Singapore mihun. My super lame desk mate kept complimenting the satay. Unfortunately there will be no photos because it's illegal to bring the phone to school okay? *coughs*

Since today will be the last day at Lionel's, smart ass Jerome and Leong came up with the idea to dine at Pizza Hut before tuition. The waitress was really annoying and at the same time funny. We ordered one set which consists of 4 mini pizzas with different flavors each. She told us to choose which flavour we wanted but there were only 4 flavors available. Why the heck are you telling people to choose? Trying to be funny? *shakes head*

Lena trying to act like a nerd but failed.

Another lamer who tried to act but failed again, most probably too distracted by the phone.

Mr. Handsome refused to let his photo be taken because he's too afraid that he'll produce a massive gang of fan girls.

PIZZAS ~!

They looked as if they were being forced to eat.

Then we walked to Andajaya for our last tuition with Lionel. How depressing. Most students were absent together. I pity them because Lionel was being so generous tonight. During the first half an hour of the class, he went out for awhile after giving us work to do. We were already being very curious. Then during the next hour, he went out again carrying his bag. When he came back, he was carrying Pizzas and soft drinks. How thoughtful! He kept telling us that we should eat to show appreciation. Lol, Lena, Leong and I were like, omg, pizzas again but of course the pizzas were better than those we ate at Pizza Hut earlier on. Most probably it's because they're free and our great teacher bought them! =D

Pizza Man, Lionel!

"I don't wanna see anyone who isn't eating!"

PIZZAs again! Be jealous! xD

He was eating while teaching.

As if he did not eat pizzas for dinner.

Something lame that I did today since it's the last day. *CRIES*

Say goodbye to my English tuition. I know I'm gonna miss it A LOT because I've always love thursday nights, especially the Kopitiam sessions and Lionel's funny gestures. Besides, I do miss the people there too even though I'm not that close with most of them. It has been really fun. Well, actually I'm already missing it now. EMO mode is activated now.
