grad night '08

Grad night was aweso-some!
Departed at 7. Wanted to arrive early to 8 around but halfway to Heritage, I was like, shit, forgotten to take the key for the guitar, mom please fetch me back to the house. So I arrived there quite late. From far the entrance looked as if there was some HUGE HUGE event. As if many Datins and Datos gonna be there. Funny. Met up with Lena and Leong. Couldn't recognize many people, some looked really gorgeous but some... lol, you shall complete what I wanna say.

Mind you, her whole body costs her close to 2k. I mean Miss Woo, James Woo? Chris Woo?

Registered and got our goodie bags. Lol, the bag looks funny. I can't recall who said the bag looks like those enviromental friendly bags that people use for buying vegetables. Was showered by those SNOW? They got stuck to my head, like huge chunks of kutu-s. Tsk. Since I didn't attend school on friday, I was simply chucked. Fortunately I got to sit with Leong but we were dumped at this table full with malays. Somehow Lena ended up sitting with us because someone took her place or something? I'm not sure, I think Joanna or Foong Vai? Lol. Anyway our table was quite far behind but really near to the buffet table. Not that it's important because the food sucked. I didn't even eat much except for watermelon and sandwiches. I went out a few times to search for Foong Vai. I got showered with the FAKE SNOW again the second time I entered. So unfair. She was complaining so much, she didn't even wanna go in. I was like forcing her. Tsk. Then it started with a speech, Mrs Lee kept mentioning my name. *shakes head*

"I told Crystal Lam to buy a skirt when I saw her this afternoon but this naughty girl ended up with a pair of jeans instead. Never mind because she still looks pretty". EAT THAT YOU PEOPLE. HAR HAR HAR.

"....you should all keep in touch so that you'll remember each other and remember how Crystal Lam looks like...." *swt*

Then the MCs invited people to give their speech. Miss Azana suddenly walked towards my table and pushed me up the stage. I was quite speechless so I ended up giving a stupid lame speech. I think I was stuttering a lot. Lol.

Winci went on stage to sing some don't know what song, I don't really listen much to mainstream so please don't blame me. Then suddenly Azyan appeared. DUET! Didn't expect that. After that, Fan, Yee San and Ee Peng performed some dance with korean songs. Great performance. Her dancing skills has improved tremendously since the last time I saw her dance, was like 2 years back if I'm not wrong. LOL. Then we had a few funny games. Didn't participate because I'm such an anti social and I was too busy taking photos.

Next, Grad Queen thingy. The results were unpredictable, was a bit surprised. Anyway the dance part was really funny, especially Sabrina's dance. FTW. HAHAHA! Amusing, really. I was laughing and clapping all the way through. I wasn't there to witness the prize giving ceremony, was busy 8-ing people's stuff. Nikita won.

There were people trying to leave early and some girls even took the opportunity to ask their boyfriends to go to Heritage so that they could date there. How LAME. As if you can't live without your boyfriend for 2 bloody hours. Tsk. Bad bad bad karma for you people. Managed to take a few more photos before going home.

mike myers is my idol

Spent my evening watching this sick movie at home. It's a remake of the classic by Rob Zombie. Not exactly a remake since it has extra stuff in it. This version covers the origins of the killer behind the mask, Mike Myers. I still remember how much I love watching this stupid movie when I was a kid. They aired it on tv every year when I was in primary.

I'd like this mask for birthday.

Average movie. 2 hours of gruesome stuff. 1 hour covers his childhood and teenage life. The next is all about his revenge. The second hour is practically pitch black all the time. Damn it. Had such a hard time watching during certain scenes. There were too many predictable scenes, but it was indeed quite fun even though you'll know what happen next.

Scenes which are TOO damn common :

1. Sex scenes - why must the killer attack them each time they fuck? It's always like that. They just like having many sex scenes and while they're enjoying, the killer strikes. Dumb.
2. Die hard killer - yeah, the murderer wouldn't die for the first time. Most of the time he gets back to life and it requires a 2nd strike or something for him to die.
3. Babysitters - murderers just love preying on them for no reason.
4. Sluts - most sluts in the movie live a really SHORT life. They'll be the first to die.
5. Weak ass police - police does not have the ability to kill the murderer. It will be the job of an ordinary person to do so.

This movie was released back in 2007 but since we're in Malaysia, we only get to watch this movie this year. Great.

Will be sitting for my last paper tomorrow.
I feel like shit now for some reason. I should stop watching sick movies before I get influenced.

Went for Chye's Guitar Gathering at Noodle Bar. It was my first time. The place was okay, quite comfortable. The food? Decent food but Leong's church friends kept complaining. Lol.

Then there was this group of seafood girls who came from God knows where. Lena assumed they're from AMC. Then Leong's friend said, "AMC? Where got AMC for them? KFC got lah". It might not be funny here, it must be read in cantonese. We laughed so badly. They were walking in and out of the cafe for don't know how many friggin' times. Yeah, so most probably they were dying for attention. What a pathetic way of getting famous. xD

Then we took out our guitars after dinner. If I'm not wrong I was the only one who brought the guitar in a case. So 'pai seh'. Ugh. Friends were teasing me because of the case's size. Played mostly chinese songs. Damn, some times couldn't follow the chords because of the stupid chinese lyrics. Everyone was having a lot of fun when were playing Beyond's songs. Tsk. I wish he would include more English songs next time. That would definitely be better.

Mom came to pick me up before the event ended. It was supposed to end at 9.30 but we only managed to finish 1 out of 3 sets of song sheets at 10. 'Potong stim' betul. Tsk. Supposed to 'yum cha' at Starbucks and take photos with Lena's cute little sis too. Plans ruined. Sigh, there's always another time right.
